PAPUA - In the heart of Papua’s lush landscapes, hope was sown alongside smiles and laughter in Eronggobak Village, Ilaga District. On a bright Sunday (23/03/25), soldiers of Task Force 700, led by Danpos Eromaga Letda Inf Sudirman, arrived not with weapons, but with seeds—corn seeds, to be exact—symbolizing growth, resilience, and a brighter future.
With warm camaraderie and heartfelt conversations, the corn seeds were handed over to the villagers, represented by community leader Mr. Anis. The event wasn’t just about distributing seeds; it was about planting the foundation for self-sufficiency and economic empowerment.
"This initiative is our way of supporting the President’s food security program, " said Letda Inf Sudirman, his smile reflecting the warmth of the moment. "We hope these seeds will flourish, bringing both nourishment and economic opportunities for the people of Eronggobak. Whether they choose to consume or sell their harvest, we want to see them thrive."
TNI: Guardians, Partners, and Friends
Beyond security, the Indonesian National Army (TNI) stands as a true partner in development. This was echoed by Pangkoops Habema, Major General TNI Lucky Avianto, who emphasized the significance of food security in building a prosperous Papua.
