PAPUA - In an effort to enhance education quality in Indonesia’s border regions, the RI-PNG Border Security Task Force (Pamtas) Mobile Yonif 432/WSJ from Dal Post conducted English lessons for students at Dal Public Elementary School (SDN Dal), Nduga Regency, Papua. The activity, led by Deputy Commander of the Task Force (Wadansatgas), Captain Inf Syarif Al Martadha, aimed to inspire and empower young learners with valuable language skills. March 9, 2025
Empowering Students with Global Language Skills
This initiative is part of Task Force Yonif 432/WSJ's territorial development program, designed to support education in remote areas with limited access to qualified teachers. By leveraging their skills, the soldiers hope to contribute meaningfully to the students’ learning experience.
Captain Inf Syarif Al Martadha emphasized the importance of mastering English for the students’ future.
“English is an essential international language. We hope that through this initiative, children in Dal District will gain the confidence and skills needed to compete in the global landscape, ” he stated.
Enthusiastic Response from Students and Teachers
Throughout the lesson, the students showed great enthusiasm, actively engaging by asking questions and participating in interactive learning activities. Beyond teaching, the soldiers also provided encouragement and motivation, inspiring the children to pursue their dreams.
The Principal of SDN Dal expressed deep gratitude for the initiative, highlighting its positive impact on local education.
“This program is incredibly beneficial for our students. We sincerely appreciate the dedication of Task Force Yonif 432/WSJ, and we hope this collaboration continues to inspire and uplift our children’s future, ” he said.
