"Rosita" Program: More Than Just Buying, It's a Lifeline
Amidst economic hardship, Yonif 700/Wyc Task Force launched the "Rosita" program—an initiative dedicated to purchasing local farmers' produce. However, this effort is more than just a financial transaction; it is a heartfelt commitment to empowering Papuan farmers and ensuring they thrive.
"We want to help residents who rely on their crops for survival, " said Second Lieutenant Inf Risal, Commander of TK Pintu Jawa. "They no longer have to walk long distances to sell their produce. Instead, they can bring their harvest to a designated collection point, and we will buy everything."
A Simple Act with a Big Impact
Under the scorching Papua sun, mothers and farmers arrive carrying baskets filled with fresh produce—sweet potatoes, leafy vegetables, and other crops. However, this was no ordinary market day. There were no exhausting price negotiations, only genuine smiles and heartfelt gratitude as the soldiers purchased everything they had to offer.
"Papuan agricultural products are fresh, and we consume them too, " said Second Lieutenant Risal. "Through ‘Rosita, ’ we are not only strengthening the local economy but also building trust, listening to the community’s struggles, and working together to find solutions."
More Than Economic Aid—Building Trust and Hope
Beyond economic assistance, "Rosita" has become a bridge between the TNI and the people. It is not just about exchanging goods for money but about creating warm conversations, sharing laughter, and strengthening community bonds. The soldiers of Yonif 700/Wyc Task Force are not just buying produce; they are buying trust, hope, and a brighter future for the Papuan people.
"We are committed to continuously supporting the Papuan people, " Second Lieutenant Risal affirmed. "By easing their economic burden and ensuring their hard-earned agricultural products find a market, we are helping create a more sustainable future for them."
TNI’s Presence: More Than Security, It’s About Love and Prosperity
In Bionidikime Village, "Rosita" is more than just a program—it is a real, tangible proof that the TNI is not only present to maintain security but also to spread love, foster prosperity, and build hope in the land of Papua.
