Hope Engraved in Kenyam: Task Force Yonif 733 Koops Habema Shares Dreams Through Books and Shoes for Papuan Children

PAPUA - In the midst of their border guard duties, personnel from the Mobile R-PNG Task Force Yonif 733/MSK Koops Habema came with a glimmer of hope. They not only brought rifles, but also notebooks and shoes, symbols of dreams and a brighter future for children in Kenyam District, Nduga Regency, East Papua (10/3/2025)

Led by Lieutenant Inf Amin Tomia, Commander of the Kotis Kenyam Post Yonif 733/MSK, the TNI soldiers lovingly distributed school supplies to the enthusiastic children. The innocent smiles and sparkling eyes of the children were a touching sight, as if their dreams were starting to come true.

"We want the children in Kenyam to have the same opportunity to achieve their dreams, " said Lieutenant Inf Amin Tomia in a sincere voice.  "Education is the key to opening the door to the future, and we want to help them move forward."

The assistance of notebooks and shoes is not just a provision of material, but also an investment for the future of Papua. Task Force Yonif 733/MSK believes that education is the main foundation for building a more advanced and prosperous society.

"We want the children in Kenyam to grow into a generation that is intelligent, has character, and loves its homeland, " said First Lieutenant Inf Amin Tomia. "We want them to become future leaders who will bring positive change to Papua."

This activity is not only about providing assistance, but also about establishing bonds of brotherhood between the TNI and the Papuan people. The presence of Task Force Yonif 733/MSK in Kenyam provides a sense of security, comfort, and new hope for the community. They prove that the TNI is not only guarding the country's borders, but also cares about the education and future of Papuan children.

"We are very grateful to the TNI officers who have provided books and shoes to our children, " said Mama Yanti, a mother who attended the activity.  "May God bless you all." 

Responding to this, Pangkoops Habema Maj. Gen. TNI Lucky Avianto said that with a spirit of devotion and love, the TNI continues to strive to provide the best for the Papuan people.
