Habema Soldiers Bring Hope and Smiles to Yegerbaga: A Social Service Mission in Papua

PUNCAK - In a heartfelt gesture of service, the Infantry Battalion Task Force (Satgas Yonif) Raider 323/White Buaya Kostrad, under the HABEMA Operations Command in Papua, has once again demonstrated its dedication to fostering unity and welfare among the people of Papua. As part of the RI-PNG Mobile Border Security Operation in Puncak Regency, Central Papua Province, these soldiers ventured into the remote Yegerbaga Village in Ilaga District to deliver vital assistance and joy to the local community.

On Friday (January 31, 2025), the brave Task Force soldiers brought much-needed health services, distributed food supplies, and even provided sports equipment to the Yegerbaga residents. This noble initiative, which highlights the TNI's commitment to its people, was warmly received, as evident from the joyful smiles of children and the gratitude expressed by the villagers.

Task Force Pasiter Letda Chk Dani Gunawan emphasized the importance of being present and engaged with the local community. “Health is the most valuable asset we have. Through this activity, we aim to support the community’s welfare while building strong bonds of unity and mutual trust, ” he stated.

The significance of the event was echoed by Mr. Yulianus Mom, a respected community leader in Yegerbaga Village. “This moment is incredibly meaningful for us. We are deeply grateful for the attention and care shown by the TNI. We hope that initiatives like this will continue to enrich the lives of our community, ” he shared.
